"Four-horse-power-truck" (Photograph from Chicago Daily News, about
1905)
Emil Teuthorn - at that time 17 years old - described his occupation
for the year 1897 in NY as "combined errand boy (Laufbursche) but
with horse and cart". So his equipment was more modest than the
above one. Probably "one-horse-power". |
